The Eagle Summer Slam Series continues this weekend with the LBD
Awareness Grass Tournament at beautiful Loomis Basin Park in the
Sierra foothills. Men's, women's, and juniors doubles play is offered
on Saturday, along with a recreation coed 6's division, followed by
reverse coed play on Sunday. The event also features live music, a
craft fair, kids play zone, skill contests, raffle drawings and
informational sessions on the effects of Lewy Body Dementia. For more

| Folsom High School Open Gym Closed Until Aug 24th |
|
 Folsom High School Open Gym will be closed the ndxt two weeks while they re-do the floor.
It will re-open Aug 24th.
This is unfortunate news with the La Sierra temp closure, leaving nothing open on Sunday currently!

Just a note to inform everyone that due to floor re-finishing Davis Open gym will be closed the entire week of Aug. 4-11.
So no gym on Aug.5th (Tuesday), Aug. 8th (Friday) and Aug.10th (Sunday).
They will be back to regular schedule on Aug.12 (Tuesday)

| La Sierra Sunday Open Gym temporarily closed |
|
| La Sierra is shutting down it's Sunday open gym until September due to low turnout. Folsom High School is staying open if we can continue to get numbers. At least 10 players must show at Folsom to keep it open. Please encourage more people to play, we cant afford to let more open gyms close down, there are far too few as it is!

The Kaleo Klassic is in honor of Kaleo Umebayashi who passed away in December of 2006 of a heart condition at the age of 29. The tournament is hosted by the Friends of Kaleo as a fund-raiser to benefit his wife and two young boys and is a great family event and one of 8 tournaments in the Eagle Summer Slam Series (www.norcalsummerslam.com).
