| Force Volleyball open gym |
|
We decided to donate our Open Play program to the Force Volleyball Club. In turn, we have permission to continue offering adult play on weekends. Playtimes will be 7-10 PM each Fri, Sat, Sun in 2012 (subject to change due to club activities; keep up through email)
So come on out and bring a friend!
The Force facility is an unheated warehouse with 5 full courts divided by full height nets. Bleachers for your cheering fans!
[ The first 90 players are assured court space (others will be put on the wait list – you will get on as others leave). We seek to limit courts to 3 teams of 6 playing in a 2-on / 1-off format (win or lose, you play 2 games in a row). Any team willing to play with 7 players is fine by us. ]
Please pass the word around – we may not have email addresses for everyone.
FORCE ADDRESS
2930 Ramona Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95826
FORCE CHANGES
There will be some changes – in part because the club budget is pretty tight and in part because there is limited spare space.
1) We will not be serving potluck food (at least not right away)
2) We have a water cooler and we will try to have Gatorades available (for a small donation)
3) No movies for the kids (no space to store the TV and DVD player between weekends)
a. Please consider bringing snacks for your children
b. Please consider bringing entertainment for your children (nothing with wheels please – razors, skates, bikes…)
4) Please be very careful if you warm up off of the courts – spectators do not wish to be clobbered ;- )
5) Notify Gail when you leave so we can let waiting players fill in on your court.
Thank you for continuing to show respect for the building and the equipment. Force must replace any broken items and must pay for any damage to the building – such as insulation replacement. Your careful use of the building will permit us to continue playing!
HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL !!!
Steven & Gail Garner

| This is a community run site! |
|
Hi all,
We recently received some anonymous criticism about the open gym listings being out of date. We rely on the community to keep us informed of any gym changes / updates etc.
Unfortunately this person didn't give any specifics, so they did not help at all. If you see something wrong or outdated on the site, shoot us an email via the "Submit News" link and we'll update it asap.
Thanks!
